Self Esteem:

By taking part in extra-curricular activities, children experience a feeling of accomplishment, which helps in strengthening their self-esteem. They become more aware and acquire more exposure, making them more knowledgeable. They become bold and learn to face different challenges.

Social Circle:

Children who are active in sports and other creative activities tend to have an active social circle and this helps them to develop an extrovert approach in dealing with society as a whole. Such children have enhanced personality and are generally confident and competitive.

All Round Development:

When children are encouraged in extracurricular activities, they acquire many skills, which foster their all round development.

Physical growth:

Extracurricular activities keep children busy and active; they are not curbed by laziness. The activeness provides the much needed boost to their physical growth. Such children become taller, stronger and sharper.

At Billabong International School Thane, we understand the importance of extracurricular activities and encourage students to take part in productive activities.
